Jay Rouse is the Vice-President of Publications for the PraiseGathering Music Group. He began his publishing career in 1988 and in 1990 he was named Director of Publications for the Gaither Publishing Group, which in 1993 became PraiseGathering Music Group. Along with associate Randy Vader, he has composed some of the top-selling choral anthems and has become one of the leading arrangers and orchestrators in Christian music publishing. In addition, he has enjoyed a brilliant career as a keyboard artist and has served as accompanist for the Gaither Vocal Band, and music director/accompanist for Sandi Patty. His piano books, Soliloquy, Christmas Soliloquy, Solitude...Hymn Meditations for Solo Piano, Christmas Solitude...Hymn Meditations for Solo Piano, Christmastide and a release from Integrity Music entitled Worthy have been enthusiastically received by pianists across the nation. He oversees creative development of new publications for the companies of the PraiseGathering Music Group and Gaither Music Company.

Jay, his wife Amy and their children, Thatcher and Londyn, reside in Anderson, Indiana.
