It is all an offering -
1 Corinthians 13:1-3
If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.
The words that I speak
The songs that I sing
If not centered Lord in You
They do not mean a thing.
May the words of my mouth
And the song of my heart
Be acceptable to You
As an offering – not just art.
For an offering is my joy
Overflowing from Your grace
Not a stage of my own
Not a self-indulgent place.
Whatever I receive
I offer up to You
As a life of loaves and fishes
Praising You in all I do.

Psalm 19:14
May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
be pleasing in your sight O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.
